Lab Director
POLAR is led by Prof. Abolfazl Mohebbi, Associate Professor in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal and holder of the iTMT Research Chair in Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies.
His research bridges robotics, biomechatronics, and clinical rehabilitation — building technologies that restore and augment human movement.
